Nowaday Medellín is the city with the best transportation system in Colombia, because it is consist for all metro system and every way of transportation that integrate it.

THE METRO: It is the first massive transportation system that was building in Colombia, the metro cross the metropolitan area from north to south , betwen Bello and Sabaneta towns; also extends from center of the city toward west, and from north to northest of the city. The metro has several lines  of which main objective is integrate all city and make easier mobility in the same.

THE METRO CABLE:  Is an air cable system used as massive transportation in medellín city; Medellin was the first city in the world which implemented this system, beside introduce it with a social effect, because that transportation mode helps mainly the disadvantaged sector. The metro cable has 2 lines:

The K line: building in the northest zone of the city, and 

The J line: building in the commune 7 and 13.

THE METROPLUS: It is composed of a whole of articulated buses which move around the city. This transportation model is support in a brazilian model of buses type BRT. Also is a system integrated to the metro, and one of the main metroplus objectives is integrated to Belen neighborhood with the metro, because this sector did not have any comunication with the metro system.
